#Travchat Tweetup under the Northern Lights in Lapland

I am so excited to announce the first #Travchat meet and tweetup for 2017. Now since this is the very first one we wanted to make it a special one, a real once in a lifetime experience. So we teamed up with Aurora Holidays and invite you to join us for one week under the Northern Lights in Finnish Lapland. If you’re a regular member of the #Travchat community or have been following me for a while, you know that Lapland is my absolute favourite place on earth and the chance to share this magical Arctic wonderland with the #Travchat community means a lot to me.

You will not only have the chance to tick the mesmerising Northern Lights off your bucket list, but experience an action packed itinerary of winter activities like husky sledding and snowshoeing, tasting authentic local dishes and learning more about Europe’s last indigenous people, the Sami. But you won’t have to do it alone. You will finally have the chance to meet all those adventurous travellers you speak to every Wednesday on #Travchat in person and what better way to get to know each other than sitting by a campfire, toasting marshmallows and waiting for the Northern Lights?

Can you guarantee that I will see the Northern Lights?

No. As much as we’d like to guarantee you that you will see the Northern Lights, we can’t. But I can promise that Aurora Holidays will do everything they can to make it happen. Last year every guest that visited them managed to see the Auroras dancing on the night sky, because they know exactly how to track them down even on the cloudiest nights. But even these guys are human and can only do so much to make the magic happen.
